The Under Armour Association (UAA) Session II in Hamilton, Ohio, solidified the status of three of the most exciting young prospects in grassroots basketball. Representing different classes and regions, Chase BranhamJoshua Rivera, and Xavier Young dominated the floor, turning heads and accelerating their national recruitments. Chase Branham (KC Run GMC) – Class of 2027

Fresh off a stellar 4-0 run in Session I, four-star Indiana commit Chase Branham kept his foot on the gas for KC Run GMC. The 6'4" shooting guard proved exactly why he is considered one of the premium floor generals and elite connectors on the circuit.

Elite Efficiency: Branham showcased exceptional pace, limiting unnecessary dribbling and keeping the ball moving.

Rim Finishing: According to Synergy Sports, Branham shot a blistering 67.6% at the rim, using body bumps to create space against elite interior defense.

Rebounding Mastery: Despite his guard stature, he consistently stuck his nose into traffic to pull down critical defensive rebounds.

Joshua Rivera (NJ Shore Shots) – Class of 2027

Representing Archbishop Stepinac (NY), 6'6" wing Joshua Rivera brought his versatile toolset to Ohio for the NJ Shore Shots. Rivera continues to experience an absolute explosion in his national stock, demonstrating rapid maturation as a two-way playmaker.

Slasher Mentality: Rivera showed great improvement in putting the ball on the floor, attacking closeouts, and getting downhill into the paint.

Shot Selection: Known for high-IQ basketball, Rivera anchored the Shore Shots offense by hunting smart shots and facilitating for his teammates out of the wing position.

Defensive Length: His size allowed the Shore Shots to switch seamlessly on the perimeter, altering shots and disrupting passing lanes.

Xavier Young (Texas Impact 4:13) – Class of 2028

Widely regarded as the top-ranked prospect in the state of Texas for his class, 6'10" composite five-star recruit Xavier Young was an absolute force for Texas Impact 4:13. Ranking as a top-15 national recruit, the mega-prospect's physical tools dominated the baseline.

Above-the-Rim Finishing: Young acted as an explosive lob threat, routinely punishing the rim in transition and functioning as a premier play-finisher in the dunker spot.

Paint Protection: Using his elite length, Young completely altered opponents' offensive game plans by wiping away shots around the basket and anchoring the interior defense.

Double-Team Passing: Facing constant double and triple-teams inside, Young flashed impressive passing acumen by making smart, unselfish reads to open teammates on the perimeter.
